Alice Springs and the MacDonnell Ranges

A recent visit to Alice Springs provided me with the opportunity to capture some awesome photographs as we were coming in to land.

Alice Springs is a remote town in the Northern Territory 1500km from Darwin. It is famous for the MacDonnell Ranges, a 644km mountain range which surrounds the town and is the start of the Larapinta Trail. The Trail covers 223km from Alice Springs to Mount Sonder, one of the territory’s highest mountains. The Larapinta Trail is on my “bucket list” to walk at some point.
