I have learnt that sometimes in life we need to stand back from certain things and situations that we find ourselves in and look at them from a different point of view.
Having a camera to focus on a particular object or space helps me to see the thing that i am looking at in a different way. Playing with the exposures and ISO settings can create some simple and amazing photographs which can change the way an object looks drastically.
The photographs below were taken of the same stream but one using a longer exposure to blur the motion of the falling water and the other to freeze frame the droplets.
The water remains the same, it is constantly moving and free flowing unaware that it is the subject to my experiment. Then I always have found the best photographs I take are those when the subject is not aware of what I am doing!
Have a good week!
